 Dr. Kenneth Fils serves as President and Clinical Director of Davken Associates, with over 40 years of clinical experience and more than 30 years focused on long-term care. In 1995, he founded the company after seeing firsthand the unmet need for specialized behavioral health services in nursing facilities, and he has guided Davken ever since. Dr. Fils created the structured clinical model that remains the cornerstone of the company, giving clinicians the supervision, tools, and protocols they need to help residents thrive in their environment. Under his leadership, Davken has brought stability and improved quality of life to thousands of long-term care residents across Illinois. In addition to running the company, he lectures frequently, appears on radio programs, and has delivered hundreds of in-service trainings to facility staff on mental health care for aging, medically complex populations and a range other issues . His leadership is defined by clinical excellence, decades of hands-on experience, and an enduring passion for raising standards in long-term care behavioral health. At Davken, we specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help our clients with a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Our therapists have extensive experience in using CBT to help clients gain practical skills to manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life.
